ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Harry Xu
Harry is an aspiring entrepreneur who is deeply interested in the intersection and applications of Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Computer Science. Someday, Harry hopes to create his own startup that would be involved first-hand in space exploration and advancement. He hopes to share that same passion with other students on this platform.
During his free time, Harry enjoys partaking in astrophotography, learning a new language, and writing an application to automate parts of his life.
Chief Operating Officer
Aditya Srinivakar
Advai has had a passion for geology and astronomy ever since he was little. He plans to major in earth and space science and enjoys interesting geologic features and sequence of strata. He is best represented at the time 2-6 am, as this is the time to view and observe stars in the night sky which he enjoys.
During his free time, Advai enjoys tinkering with his telescope, updating his rock collection, and reading about black holes.
Executive Officer
Lucas Liang
Lucas has had a strong interest in the cosmos ever since visiting his local school planetarium. He enjoys learning about all the different kinds of planets that live in the galaxy and reading science fiction books. Lucas hopes to spread his passion for astronomy with other aspiring astro learners in his community.
During his free time, Lucas enjoys competitive programming and playing with his dog Ozzie.
Advisor
Dorota Sawicka
Mrs. Sawicka has been a physics teacher at Mission San Jose High School for 2 years and is currently the advisor of Universal Explorers. Growing up, she had a passion for physics which led to her interest in astronomy as well.
During her free time, she enjoys engaging in conversations with her students about physics and spending time with her two daughters.
